I'm having an issue with the default example scene. I haven't changed anything, I downloaded the animations and placed them in the Animations folder, I've made sure that the FreeClimb tag exists and is set on the object in the scene. I'm also using Unity v2017.2.
Now that that's out of the way, here's my issue: I can start climbing on any of the climbable objects in the scene, but once I enter a climbing mode, the default character goes into this kind of kneeling pose, and I can't move. I can jump around (or at least I assume it's jumping since it kind of warps), and I can let go of the wall and fall down by pressing the jump button by itself. I have no clue why it isn't working.
Here's a video of what it's doing:

Eric you didn't edit anything at all? What Invector version are you using? I would get a diff version of Unity like the latest stable build of 5. Test it. Unless you have messed with the physics layers settings before you got the add-on. Or perhaps missed an install step (which it does not sound you missed anything..) hmmm...there is de f a reason it's happening and it's similar to my issue when i was using the melee input on my character.

If the animations don't work at first just close Unity and open again so Unity updates all the animator information, this information is on the readme file that we provide ;)

Yup, it was all fixed by simply restarting Unity. Thanks for the help! Hopefully the video will help anyone else experiencing the same thing.

I'm having another bit of an issue, this time with the camera rotation speed changing when I'm climbing. When I'm on the ground, my camera rotates at the normal speed I set it to. Right when I start climbing, the speed goes way up, and then it goes back to normal once I'm on the ground again. My Free Climb camera is set to Default, and no settings are changing in the inspector on my camera, so I'm not sure why or how it's increasing in speed. Here's the visual: And here are my camera settings: Any ideas what could be happening? I checked this with the default Invector character, and it's doing it there as well. I don't have any extra custom code running in my scene. It's just the default Free Climb demo with my character model in place of the Invector one.

change the state to freeclimb or climb or whatever it is and check the mouse sensitivity

Final IK works nice with this Especially when pulling up a ledge after scaling a wall It does? Not for me though, not even when i disable it at start of climbing. The character just glitches trough walls and teleport's two meters down when finishing climb and then magically appears at the point he's supposed to. * Im using the FBBIK Grounder as well.

Yep, i also had to switch layers on some transparent meshes *Such as roots As Final IK's Grounder messes with footsteps if there's floor and something on top of it. Curious problem, haven't been able to fix it. Only way is to just delete whole grounder all together.

Hi,
I want to make character climb Terrain mountain (with Terrain Collider). Is it possible?
