We have support for the 360 controller, it's the most used joystick on Windows platform. To use on other controllers, you may need to customize a few inputs

Hello everybody, I know Invector packages have the xbox controller compatibility, does that mean it could work on xbox 1? I have several packages tested with the x1. It should run out of the box if the invector guys doesn't use fancy stuff like jit'ing. The x1 needs all the stuff 'ahead of time'

didn't know unity could make original xbox games :D wish it could though! But yeah I believe Unity can export games to the latest marketplace for xbone, I don't know what special setups you need to test the software etc first though.

Apply to the id@xbox program and then you can recieve development consoles. To build executables for x1 you need a special unity version and the xbox one plugins.

Actually you don't. You apply for a Windows Dev Center account for a one time fee of $19. You then get a developer console app for your retail Xbox One that puts it in developer mode. In unity you compile for Windows Store, and select Universal 10. You don't need anything special from Unity. It's open to everyone now. Here is a good thread about it on the Unity forums. forum.unity3d.com/threads/tips-and-tricks-for-building-for-uwp-and-deploying-to-xbox-one.395150/I can confirm invectors kit works just fine out of the box with XBOne, I had to make a small edit to the input settings for the directional pad to work, but that was it.

😁 thats new to me. So you are now able to make your games for the win store via shitty uwp arm builds. You have to pay for it, bring your own console and you are not on XBL.
The crap building in redmond is getting higher and higher
