The hit effects script on weapons plays hit sounds but instantiates an audio source. It does not destroy the audio source after playing which clogs up the hierarchy when i give all my AI weapons.
Is this intentional?
Also, why does it instantiate even though i specify to use the audio source on the Ai character?

Just add a vDestroyGameobject component to your audiosource prefab, you can set a custom delay to destroy it
