Hello,
I've searched, but can't find any help on where you call the reload events on the AssultRifle to make the clips appear and disappear, I've copied everything but I just can't see where you set the event name for the animator state that you setup in the animator listener.
Any help greatly received.

Ok so I have found the reload state in the animator and can see I've nearly got it right by adding in my states to the animator but I can't find where the hand rifle clip event listener is thats not setup on either rifle clip on the rifle prefab

It's in the AssaultRifle... we have 3 events there, 1 to instantiate a prefab of the clip with rigidbody, another to disable the clip mesh of the rifle and the last one to enable the clip.

Thank you for that, yes I’ve got that far, but on the reload state of the character where you have Reload handgun, reload rifle, reload shotgun etc I’m trying to replicate what you have done with the rifle for my handgun model and in the rifle reload animator state there are four calls,
Turn off RIFLE CLIP
Turn on HAND CLIP
Turn off HAND CLIP
Turn on RIFLE CLIP
The rifle clip events I found as your screenshot shows but I can’t find where the Hand Clip event receivers are setup to receive the calls from the animator

Its the 'handrifle' ones I can't find, the 'rifleclip' ones I can find on assault rifle as shown in your screen shot.

And I don't understand what effect 'reloadID' has, if I change it to say 17 on the rifle one the reload plays just as it does when set to 2. Thank you,

Right I have it all working now, just as the rifle works, When the rifle reloads the character has a clip in his hand to make it look like he is reloading but my character doesn't. So in your shootermelee test scene when the assault rifle reloads you can see the vBot has a clip in his hand, my Character doesn't but everything else works when I reload my handgun clip is instantiated and drops to the floor. So I just cant figure out how the clip in the characters hand works, I clearly have something missing on my character as when I pick up your assault rifle my character doesn't have a clip in his hand. if I can find that I think it will all work perfectly So how does the clip in the hand part work ? Thank you

I think I've found something vBot has shooter attachments, ok I'll try to figure this out. I've added the shooter attachments prefab to my character and setup the bones etc, but the clip in hand doesn't appear, i can't find any instructions for this, how do you link shooter attachments to the character so the clip appears ? **UPDATE ALL WORKING I found it I was missing the animator update receiver on the character itself that where the hand clip is setup !! now my handgun animates the clip on reload ! Thank you !
