I just downloaded the 3rd Person Shooter Template and am noticing when I go to reload a weapon, it causes my player to move back a bit in the scene. How can I fix this? I followed the tutorials on how to set up a shooter controller, fix the orientations, and then add an inventory. This is on a fresh project.

That's strange, are you using the latest version? I just tested here and it's working as expected...

I'm using version 1.3.2. It only seems to happen with the rifle prefab.

Now this is strange. I reimported on the project thats having the issue and another project. One project works as expected and the other doesn't.

You did a clean import on the project that was presenting the issue or you import the template into an existing project?

I did clean imports on both projects.

Perhaps you didn't import our ProjectSettings the first time, and the layer of the clip was not set to ignore the Player, resulting in pushing the player back

I think I have a solution/quick fix. After I do a clean import, I copy the project settings from the project that works to the new project. Then everything works as expected.

When I import from the Unity Asset Store, only 2 files are able to be checked in the project settings tab. That may be an issue too

Just go to Invector > Import ProjectSettings
