I'm working on a system that I can move between the game scene and a main menu scene. When I go back from the game scene to the main menu I can still see my character in the distance from the game scene. I also have this problem with the inventory UI appearing in the main menu scene. I thought that when one scene is opened the other one closes.

By default the Controller, Inventory, and Camera are instances and set to don't destroy on load, to allow move them from scene to scene, you could either remove the instance or disable those gameobjects while the main menu is open
