HI i have this wired problem when i try to place a turret, trap or mine. I'm on a clean install of the newest builder add-on demo scene in unity 2019.30f1. at first i thought it was not working, i pick up a turret and enter build mode but nothing was happening but then i found that the Build manager is placed way off from the player... Easy fix i moved the build manager in front of the player as it was intended. Now i can enter build mode... but when i want to place the turret i press the x button on my controller and my character crouches and starts spinning like crazy until the turret is done and then he returns to normal!?

Try comparing your controller with the prefab that comes with the builder, it must be something silly... if it's possible record a video showing how you set up your controller

Also make sure that you have your layers/tags included so go to the menu Invector > Import ProjectSettings I did download it again. I went to appdata/ roaming/ unity/ assetstore and deleted the builder add-on folder from there to make sure i get the latest update. I then deleted the builder add-on folder from my project. I re-started the project and went to the asset store to download and import it again. i open the builder demo scene and this is what happens... vimeo.com/user106499791/review/380266988/056f432690vimeo.com/user106499791/review/380266988/056f432690

Yea, I have the same thing happening, I think, lol. Here is where I'm at: started new project downloaded builder downloaded mele shooter tons of errors and wouldn't run deleted builder and meta data files from project re-downloaded builder only a few warnings, no errors, and the demo scene runs when you try to place spike trap, the character spins in place until the trap gets built over by the "boards on windows" area I think it has something to do with targeting the character for the placement(like you said moving the build manager) but I don't have a bunch of time to jump in to it right this minute.

Sorry fellas, at some point the transform of the BuildManager object inside the player was moved.
To fix simply reset back the 0, 0, 0 (rotation as well)
