So while I was working on my spell system I made two different versions, one using shooter and the other using melee weapons. I realised in doing this, one activates the upper body mask whereas the other relies on movesets.
Is there any particular reason for this? Using the same anim for both creates a very different output, is there intent for future updates to move both systems across to the upper body blends?

They both use moveset_ids but the shooter has the additional upperbody_ids which uses the mask so you only need a upperbody pose animation of holding a weapon to blend with the underbody moveset, otherwise, you would need fullbody animations for each direction holding a weapon

Ok i might look at editing the meleweapon to include the upper body then
