Hi all,
I'm a new user to the controller and melee combat, they are a fantastic asset and can already see they will save me a tonne of time.
However, I do have a couple of little questions, I've been spending hours now searching through the forum here but can't find definite answers.
Firstly, when using the Simple Melee AI, I've moved the sphere sensor under the detection section up to the eye level of my enemy, however what happens is that he doesn't see players who are on an incline below him. Is there a way around this that I'm missing? At the moment I end up with enemies just looking around for a player when he's right in front of them just on an incline
How do I go about adding a completely new move to a player? I've seen a few animations on miximo that I really like and would like to add them, either as whole new moves (like when holding light + heavy attack buttons at once) or replacing existing ones, but can't see anything in the forum or youtube tutorials on actually adding a whole new attack move?
I can't for the life of me figure out where you define the hit sounds I've checked every tab I can find on my player and see no references at all to where the sounds are defined so i can disable/change them There's nothing at all in the documentation about sound.
If I wanted to use something else for input (specifically InControl), would I just change the methods like GetAxis etc in vInput.cs, writing my own code in those methods to use the InControl input calls?
Also, when there's an update for the asset, the documentation says you have to import the whole thing into a new project, why? This seems like a huge pain in the rear?
