I used to be able to not have an Invectory Third Person camera in scene and just use a static camera and have the player still be able to walk around the "set". Now I notice with Shooter 2.5.0a (hotfix) that if I do not have the Invector Third Person camera contoller in the scene the player always faces down the Z world access and not respect the walking direction (it just strafes around always facing down Z - Even if the camera is a psuedo isometric angle.)
I have even confirmed this with a brand new character. Steps to reproduce: 1. Create a new Invecot Shooter character with the wizard. 2. Remove the Camera from the scene (it will have the Invector Camera controller on it) 3. Add a static camera (have it angled towards to player - any angle is fine). 4. Walk around the scene Result: Character strafes around always facing world Z. Expected: Character will walk around in the direction of the arrow keys.
NOTE: If you add the Invector Camera controller back on the camera, the player walks around as expected.
Has anyone else noticed this / know of a fix.

Can you record a small clip showing the issue? It seems to be working fine here in the demo scenes

Invector, thanks for replying I will see if I can record on my desktop when I get home but I have just tried it on my laptop with a brand new 2019.3 project and same results with the Shooter demo scene (Invector_ShooterMelee). 1. Delete the existing camera 2. Add a new Camera and set to "Main Camera" - DO NOT ADD INVECTOR CAMERA MANAGER this is just a static camera. Press play and the player always faces down Z axis and "strafes" around. It used to turn to the direction I was pushing on the keyboard before the update. This is a 100% fresh 2019.3 project with only Invector Shooter 2.5.0a hotfix in it (and project settings imported)
