For some reason the move set id in the blend tree is acting a fool, it's being set to some weird incorrect value. Its really weird because the animator parameter on the left hand side is displaying the correct value. It only seems to happen if you have had a weapon equipped then hide it or unequip it. However if you equip a item it returns to normal. I don’t think it’s working as intended could you guys look into this for me. I looked everywhere I thought it might be set but can’t find it.

If you're manually changing the value and it's displaying another value then the code is setting this value. It's probably the method UpdateMeleeAnimations or UpdateShooterAnimations of the vShooterMeleeInput
