Answer: My melee weapon had a rigidbody on it. Make sure to check any prefabs used so that things don't sneak in when you didn't want them to.
Problem: I've created a trigger generic action on a golf ball. When I go to interact with the ball it works fine unless I'm using a melee weapon.
My player starts to skate away when I interact with the ball using a melee weapon. What could be causing this. I checked the animator but everything is being called right. Here is a video of my issue.
