Well, changing that line fixed the previous error, and allowed me to enter play mode without being blocked by the message "must fix compile errors..." but then there is this error repeated (879 times ) with the vHUDController.cs file. Although, I don't know what that's messing up. Still, the scene runs in play mode...
Found that the Invector "swimming" and "free-climb" add-ons effect this integration. They make the player start walking forward indefinitely when you click on the NPC character to talk. If you disable those add-ons, it works correctly. (don't know about other add-ons)
If you want to use your own customized Invector player controller with this, compare the V-BOT from this example scene with yours. You'll need to copy and paste components from V-BOT to yours. There are also some references to "V-BOT" where you need to change to your character.
These last two images, I forget what I did, but took a screenshot while making changes. Just take a look, to make sure your character is set the same way as in the Demo scene. Somewhere there's a reference to the camera you want to use after the intro cut scene. You can change in that camera's inspector the camera type. Something like that...
Actually... strangely, talking to the NPC only works sometimes. One time it will work. Then when I quit play mode and re-enter play mode, there's the same problem where the character will keep walking forward instead of talking...
I personally just fixed the move issue, I'm not sure if it's the right way but at least it works and it doesn't run forward in the wrong direction anymore.
private void SetCharacterPosition()
{
if (_char.GetPath())
{
Vector3 dir = _char.GetTargetPosition(true) - KickStarter.player.transform.position;
dir = dir.normalized * Mathf.Clamp(dir.magnitude, 0f, 1f);
var targetDir = vInput.cc.isStrafing ? transform.InverseTransformDirection(dir).normalized : dir.normalized;
The solution posted by necka works, I just update a few other things and the integration link is updated to Templates v2.5.3 and Adventure Creator v1.71.8

Great. Please create an invector game engine. You already have an A.I template and alot of scripts. please consider it. Rather invest in invector products then somewhere else

Thanks for updating the integration with Adventure Creator! I’m having a look at the demo, but can’t figure what is up with the Move To Point action in the scene? In this example scene character is moved by Object Transform; basically character just ‘slides’ to the marker instead of actually walking there. I assume this i not intended. Could you provide an example of how to properly set up the Move To Point action so the character walks to a marker?

It's working as expected on both assets latest version using Unity 2019.4, what versions are you running?
Work project is latest version of AC and Invector, Unity is 2019.2, it has some other assets that might be the cause of the issue (FinalIK is in there) but I need to dig a bit deeper (also, the integration scene starts in the building somehow). On a clean project in 2019.4 with latest versions of AC and Invector it works as shown in the video above.
Hello guys! I hope you guys can give me a hand with this problem. I am trying to integrate Adventure creator and I was following the video tutorial in the Invector channel. However, there is a step in the video that requires the adding of the V Invector AC link Script as a component to the player, but it doesn't show up for me at all. Does the V Invector AC link Script needs to be downloaded from somewhere else?
By the way, I am using the Melee combat template. Thanks in advance

Hi Have you download the invectorACintegrationpackage? go to the 1st page of this section and look under the tutorial video where you can download. After downloading just click on it to import the package in your project
If you have done so just add a component on your player and at the search box type in "link". You will see that V invector link script pop up.. just select that.. and follow the rest of the tutorial
