Unity new input system seems to be much more flexible and offers a solution similar to what you have with Rewired or InControl type of asset.
Was wondering if Invector is planning to integrate it soon and if anybody else experimented with it already.

Hi,
I think this would be a great addition to the Invector package, OPSIVE have created an integration and was wondering when you will be following suit, the ability to use any joystick or easier control for touch would go great with this excellent asset.

We do have plans to upgrade to the new input system but it's quite recent, it just came out from Preview, which means it should be stable but we all know how thing are with Unity xD, let's wait for a few more releases before dig into

Bummer. I was hoping I could use the new input system too. Or, at the very least, create my own that is a little more generic. I didn't realize how rather locked into an XBox controller this asset is.

Hi! Is there a new info now available about the new input system? I like to use my ps4 controller and provide other controller too in my game including keyboard and mouse setup. Actually my own UI is with the new input system and I struggle with the fact, that one eventmanager in scene is now only allowed. I would like to use mine with the new input system but have to switch it off. I could fix this with many custom scripts and switch between the eventsystems and so on. But thats sure not best practice.

Yep we do have plans to replacing our current InputSystem to Unity's due to a large number of requests, but this won't happen over night it's a pretty big change so it's not comming very soon but it's definitely on the roadmap

I'd love to hear the status on the new input system upgrade. How far along are you? I own most of the Invector assets and would love to see something that is not cluttered. You have so many great components, but they are often difficult to organize because they are imported in pieces. It would be nice to have once clean package that includes first and third person with the new input system, cover, inventory, and menus that avoid duplicate packages and is just the bare bones with one additional single file for any add-ons. Anything to make the process cleaner and easier to weed through.
