Tech Demo by kildaremc “This is a tribute to one of best games ever made- Final Fantasy XII. What if final fantasy was made with Dark souls like combat? This is a simple demo, with level growing faster and health regeneration automatically. Do not expect it in a future demo.” Windows Demo: www.dropbox.com/s/2nh025wgq6st17n/DemoDarkFF.rar?dl=0WebPlayer: ffdark.duckdns.org/

A good example, but how did he make the non-humanoid enemies? Isn't Invector only supporting Humanoid character? Man I want 4-legged creatures for my game so baaaaad T.T
And I love FF XII

Sure, I'm actually excited to start the official integration with PlyGame, it looks awesome and full of possibilities for RPG games I actually integrated this controller with PlyGame awhile back for a test project. It was a pretty painless endeavor overall. I did not go TOO far with it as it was just a test project but didn't take long to integrate the character controller and camera to plygames systems, then changed the character controller code so it pulled all relevant data from plygame. ie integrated stats (health, stamina etc). Was able to create abilities (in my test they were magic spells, all effects, stats and data of spells done in plygame) and fire them via the character controller with true crosshair style shooter aiming (no target required) and such. Was a very satisfying result for just a few evenings worth of effort after work. Here's a quick vid of the result... remember this was just a test project done over the course of a couple evenings after work, so not a whole lot of functionality / gameplay lol. Also note: that this test project was done before the melee combat version of the controller was released Yet another argument for not adding a bunch of pre-specced out functionality on peoples requests (or at least keeping anything aside from the core character controller completely modular so that it can be completely omitted if don't want it.) If it had had a bunch of "player systems" built into the controller it could have been a major task but since Invector has created an awesome controller that is simply... the controller for the most part... integration with plygame was simple and the result was very nice

Iztrahd your video is private XP but it's great to hear that you successfully use both Invector and plygame together in a project, looks like they're meant for each other <3 XD

I am trying to do exactly this same thing right now,How did you make the animations sidestep left and right?I would like the general animations for an RPG like turning in place and walking such animations as the standard unity third person controller. The unity third P.C works just fine except when you set that up the camera doesn't move as it should and im a total noob i dont know how to even set that up which is why i bought Invector but i cant seem to set up those animations to be likewise as the standard TPC =( any tutorials for that?

guys i have one question, is this legal ? i mean fangames are legals ? Some companies like capcom or square enix may pock you if you mess titles like chrono trigger or resident evil, so as long you don't publish anything it can be fine, but if you publish and especially if you sell it... than oh boy you're in trouble
