Does this work on the free version of Invector? I'm trying it out before buying and would love the first person switch to work.
But I'm getting a lot of error on import. 53 of them. Tried importing all and then only certain things, excluding the addons.
Errors are in the following scripts: version is 2.5 and I'm in Unity 2015.2.17 vFirstPersonCamera.cs vExtraCams.cs vFirstPersonCameraSwap.cs vFPCameraRoot.cs vFPCameraUI.cs vFPCameraHeadCollider.cs
With all the errors I have not proceed further, but I see it works for others. Is it because I haven't bought the full version yet?

That is good news, now I know. My game is an adventure exploration one and I am looking at the Basic Locomotion Template and the swimming addon. Will it work with those then? This FP addon really will seal the deal.

@ sjmtech You may want to consider adding in a boolean value that asks, in the Camera Swap, if you want to instantiate the ThirdPersonCamera or use the one that's already in the scene. Your current method causes me all kinds of issues because there are a number of things that I have to set up on my camera in scene. So it could just be me. I did this on my own in your script and it works fine. Actually, I went ahead and rewrote your script. Let me know if you want me to send it to you.

aleksandr409: I don't understand your problem. Can you elaborate more? dsilverthorn : yes, it will. redhawk : hey, i didn't find a good and stable way using a third camera in the scene which works with all templates and addons.

(in the video, the timecode is 0: 16; 0: 22) in third-person mode, there is no such thing.

Is there a way to stop the head turning while in first person? Having a hard time walking straight because the head/view is turned. It is hard to walk through a door sometimes.
How do I set it so that in FP it walks where it is looking? I am not sure which setting to check for that.
I am loving the first person aspect and the camera switch. Wonderful work!

aleksandr409: the addon doesn't add anything to your shooter setup. Check your setup also try the invector sample scenes to see if your issue is related to your setup. dsilverthorn: I don't know if i understand correctly but now the addon works actually in the way you said . When you are not walking the camera has an angle threshold which limit the rotation to the body ("Rotation Thld" you can sett it to 0 if you don't like this behaviour) and when you are walking it allignes the body to the camera.

That is the problem I'm having. When I start walking the camera is not aligning with the body. So if I look to the left while walking, the camera moves but the character keeps walking straight. If I'm slightly off, I can think I'm walking straight but am actually walking at an angle. Looks like the camera is not realigning to the forward when walking. Is this a bug? I'll try delete, re-download and reinstall in case it was a corrupted file from the download. But everything seems to work fine, other than the camera direction when walking.

Make sure you don't have another camera in the scene tagged "Main Camera" or any Third Person Camera gameobject. Try the included premade scenes to see if all is working ...maybe there is some mistake in your setup.

I don't know why, but when I take a cold weapon in first-person mode and sit down my hero goes into aiming mode as a weapon from which to shoot. (there is no such thing in the demo scene).

I'll check the demo again and start from the beginning. By the way, I was checking out your company website, you do some beautiful work! I love the ancient sites tours!

I took from your folder FPCameraAddon > Prefabs > Players > FPC_ShooterBuilderController. and uploaded to your scene. FPCameraAddon > Scenes > Core > FPC_ShooterSet. (Having got the melee weapon with the help of inventory, I made sure that the character goes into the mode of sight melee weapons in the mode of Crouch in the first person).Hi everyone, I double-checked this doesn't work even in the demo scene. As i said is not something related to the fpCamera...the issue you reported is present also in the standard template scenes. Try Invector_ShooterMelee_NOInventory scene.
