I'm trying to create an AI system for my companions that allow them to use both shooter and melee weapons depending on their range. I've seen the earlier threads talking about this subject and have them in consideration, but I still need help.
I tried combining both AI Combat controllers into one script, but couldn't get it to work right. I'm also trying to develop the behavior tree, but I'm new to it and reading the documentation on that.
My goal is for the characters to switch between weapons equipped to their right hands and can change during battle.
If anyone has already developed such a thing, or knows how to do it, it would be much appreciated.
