Upon starting the game (in engine) the shooter AI moves to a specific point on the terrain while completely ignoring the player. He can be interrupted by attacking him and he will act as he should but otherwise his first behaviour is very strange. His detection and view is turned up (maybe 25%) and also has sound detection on which does not cause a reaction. The only thing the will take him off his path is shooting him. I have NOT set any waypoints It seems to be the base of the UI canvas he is drawn to, which just make me more baffled

Hello, my problem is similar to this. The artificial intelligence moves to the point 0.0.0 of the game world and reacts to something that doesn't exist there, as if the enemy is there, when there is nothing there. Only the presence of the main player in the field of view can make him react selectively and prevent him from going to the 0.0.0 point. Sorry for the poor English.

Use the Debug FSM Window to see what the AI is actually doing and what paremeters are true or false. It's probably something with the Patrol settings, if you don't have a starting point he will probably try going to 0,0,0 or something like that

Thank you for the reply, unfortunately I could not fix the problem, I added a starting point and also other points to it, but the AI shows the same behavior regardless, I tried to set up a new FSM myself from scratch. I am currently working on it

Also, is your navmesh baked in your scene?
