First Question (of a few I'm sure!)

Hi there folks,
My name is Dale and I just started using Unity and this 3rd person controller.

So far it's going pretty well... intuitive and I can google/fumble thru most of my questions.
My latest issue I seem to be having is the foot step/mark spawns in a pink Unity shader error  but I cant get it to go to the foot step texture. The particles (dust) effect are there but not the lingering foot print in the grass/dirt etc.
I have read to change the shader from standard for the foot step but so far it hasn't appeared correctly... not sure what to change it to!

Any help is very appreciated!

Just found it! Had to select the foot step then go to edit/rendering and convert those to URP.
Whew!

Yep when using URP or HDRP you need to manually convert some materials
