I've tried implementing bows into the shooter template but I am having difficulty in getting the animations to look right, one of the big problems is because the bow is actually held in the left hand rather than the right. I can use the left hand IK to get it to work when aiming, but on everything else I have to radically alter or replace carry animations to match, it would be a lot easier to have the weapon actually equip to the left hand. I've had a quick look, the melee manager has both right and left equip methods, but the shooter only has right. They seem to be written a bit differently so I wasn't able to just copy paste the methods and I'm not sure how to modify the shootermanager script to allow for left handed equipment.
has anyone already played with this? Closest I found was shadex's dual wielding but that was for melee manager.

Currently the template doens't have left weapon support but it's something that we will need to eventually add, it's on our to-do list.

Necro. Yes the update is the latest shooter has archery and you can equip it to the left hand. However if you equip an axe to left hand it will still play the punch animation
