Oh crap...oops give me a few and I will fix that....
well I guess now the files are 1.6gb zipped? Doesn't seem right for 1 level. So it is going to be a few before it finishes uploading.

hehe yeah I thought 17mb was pretty small for a demo! it sounds like maybe it's packing in ALL the content required liek textures and meshes, I'll still grba it because I have enough internet to do so. Next time you go to build the exe, try selecting the demo scene as itself then exporting it to an asset pack and check only the content that it needs to run that level. Then you can bring it into a new project and see if building it there will reduce the size.

Sorry guys, I had to temporarily remove the demo links for a few. After playing through the build today we are noticing quite a few bugs. We will put it up soon again.

Man kinda pissed i missed the chance to vote for it on greenlight :( Looks like you didn't need the help. Congrats man! that's such an accomplishment. It means one way or another your going to be able to distribute your game! I was wondering if you had a chance, if you would write up how you guys got greenlite, and what strategy's paid off and what ones where not as successful. Again congrats to you and your team.

Getting greenlit was a surprise. We are nowhere near ready with our game, but we gave it a shot so that we could try and get approved before the changes took effect. When we first put up the post, we did a lot wrong. Greg made a crazy, long winded about game section. It was definitely overkill, but, he is all about story. We didn't have a cover image, so we ended up making a screenshot of part of the demo and overlaying our font on it (which I hated). We did put up a lot of screenshots, and we made sure to have a long gameplay trailer (I want to say it is around 6 minutes long). I made sure that I updated the page a lot; I changed the about game section, I changed the cover image, and I answered everyone's questions, and commented back to everyone. We also added additional screenshots, and pretty much stayed on top of everything. Due to the massive influx of games since steam direct was announced, you only get about one day on the front page. That's pretty dismal, because after that, votes are looooooow. I also kept up on greenlightupdates.com so that I knew who was greenlit, and when. Steam has a pretty consistent pattern. Every two weeks they greenlight anywhere from 80-120 games. So, I just kept updating, and finger crossing. I also keep updating the devblog on our website twice a week, and just updating the website all together. Maybe that helped????? The cool thing about the whole process is that I met a few other game devs, and tested one of their games for them (It was really darn good; made in unreal.)

Just want to give everyone an update on the demo level. After realizing that there were some serious issues remaining and some awesome feedback from Invector on what needed some fixing we decided that we needed to revamp the level. Valerie busted her ass for the past week redoing the level layout and I must say I think everyone will love it. It is now my favorite level in the game! I added a lot more interaction to the level itself..(hidden stuff and whatnot). Anyhow I am running through testing everything again and building the level, hope to get the new and greatly improved version on here for everyone to try out this evening. It is pretty amazing to me what Valerie can do in just a few days, this girl is badass let me tell ya!
So back to testing and will post again later.

Okay here is the demo level, we spent the last week redoing some things and fixing most of the bugs. I am sure there may be some other bugs that we may have missed. This level is one of the Angels realms that you will come to later in the game. Being that this game is a huge RPG for the most part it is too hard to make a demo of the main terrain, so we decided to do one of the load levels that you will encounter. Hope everyone likes it, and as an added fun bonus I kept my secret fireball in there! LOL! Looking forward to hearing some feedback from the community. Demo LinkJeremy, Valerie, and Greg

Started doing some work on one of the boss fights, not completely done but it is making some good progress I think. We are open to any suggestions to make it better. Sorry for my poor gameplay(lol!), but was trying to make sure everything came out and you could see the bosses actions.

Sorry for my poor gameplay(lol!), but was trying to make sure everything came out and you could see the bosses actions. wow that's an amazing piece of work. I would advise on getting those weapon trails a little less subtle though. It can be distracting. I think the boss was good and the overall effects and the AOEs seemed to be great. Only thing I felt watching the boss fight was the lack of progression. For instance I feel that the boss could have summoned his minions early on. And once he reached half health, may be then he could go to aoe attacks and summons. For me a boss fight feels like a boss fight when the boss gets aggressive as I get closer to finishing him off. Tell you what he could summon some people who could heal him or he could heal the minions too. But it's purely your choice as the game maker so please take these with a grain of salt . By the way I am compelled to ask. Is this purely with just Generic AI ? Because if it is, I really miss chronicman big time. I already bought ICE but I didn't have time to look at how it works or anything yet.

Thank you for the feedback tharindu! It is awesomely funny that you mentioned summoning the demon minions earlier, as that is what Valerie said to do as well and I am doing at this moment, lol. I agree as well with the boss getting more aggressive towards the end of the fight, so I am working towards that as well and going to add some more effects probably too. This is the type of feedback that I love receiving from everyone, and I appreciate it because we really want to put out an awesome game experience for everyone to play.
As far as this fight, I am not using the Generic AI for this battle, it is just some custom code added in to trigger the effects based off of the health of the boss, and then I added the extra animations in with a trigger. Might add fire tornado now?
The last problem I seem to have at the moment is that when both my Player and the Boss attack at the same time, then the bosses animation seems to get interrupted, even though I do not have break attack enabled, so I am going to ask the community for any advice on this one.
Thank you again for the feedback it is very valuable to us.

Hi, can you introduce how to make character swim in the water? Very sorry for the delay in response, we have been putting a lot of time into our game remaking terrains to be awesome and realistic! We have not been around as much due to that. To answer your question though, Invector already has swimming done it seems and will be updated soon, which will be way better than anything I have done myself. Honestly I am waiting for their update for this because I know it will be better! And then I just need to make a Bow and Arrow work...aaah! We will be back around more often now, so any thing I can help with I will.
