I'm having a huge problem configuring the IK for the bow. I checked the rig several times, and it doesn't seem the avatar or bones are a problem. However when to start, even when the bow is in a reasonable position after setting it with lock camera/aim, the default non aiming stance is defently wrong. instead of the bow being pointed down, it's at a 90 degree angle, with one of his hands going through the other. When aiming it looks fine, however when drawing the bow the arm does some pretty weird rotations if not in the exact position that lock aim puts it in.
Now i've followed the tutorials, and despite days of testing no equip point, even the default bowEquipPoint on the vBot are even close to looking like they should. I've tried configuring the Target gameobject on the bow to correct the hand, however either the left hand's angle causes the draw to go through the player, or wraps around the shoulder. Even if i get the bow looking good from the lock camera/aim, anytime i unlock and aim the bow around, the elbows go crazy.
I'm at a loss atm. Is there some IK setup i'm missing? Why is the default hand position when not aiming but having the bow equiped always messed up?

Hmmm probably something silly, but you can post some gifs or images showing the issue in your model? I've tested with quite a few models and didn't find any issues.

Here is a video of me trying to set up the bow. If you notice, no matter the rotation, the elbow is off, and the non aiming stance is way off.

Something is very very wrong over there... first of the moveset of the non aiming looks wrong, like he's holding a pistol or rifle, plus you have a warning saying that your animator controller is missing the PowerCharge parameter, so probably you don't have an updated animator, this alone can cause some issues.

Lol, i had PowerCharge, and the parameter was PowerCharger. Also found an animation i was missing in both arms. Though it's still not being able to setup the bow in aim mode correctly. Thanks for the help so far! -Shade

Take a look at your MoveSet_ID and UpperBody_ID... it should be 0 and 5 when not aiming

Take a look at your MoveSet_ID and UpperBody_ID... it should be 0 and 5 when not aiming Yea, one of the problems was that it's not setting a MoveSetID... It just always reverts to zero, so i had to change my 0 moveset with your default one. It's closer now, but still can't seem to get the right arm to look good on a draw when aiming at differn't things. I can get it where the right hand doesn't deform on a draw, but it's still looking bad. Going to try some differn't Aim Animations in UpperBody_ID.

It turned out that the model came configured in the avatar using forearm instead of palm for the hand slot, so the whole arm was shorting then it should of been. After switching it to palm bone, it seems to work fine!

Resurrecting this: We think it's a bug, in idle the bow uses the correct animation when the movement is set to Free, but in Strafe, it uses the animation of what looks like the handgun one, despite being set to use the bow one.

I got stuck on this a while ago, but wasn't using weapons so deleted the animations except the bow and it worked fine. I'm now trying to have my char use bow and guns but got stuck here. Also, I may just be slow af haha but whenever I try to update Invector it connects to the asset store then sends the asset store offline, to get back to the asset store I need to reload unity every time. It happened to me at Tafe and thought it was weird, but I've just managed to purchase your godly asset for myself finally haha and still the same issue? any help would be awesome! cheers
