We can now filter the ItemType, so for example: if an Melee ItemtType is equipped you can enable a Melee UI Button, if a shooter is equipped, disable the melee and enable a shooter ui button.

The CheckIfItemIsEquipped component? it's a generic utils script you can use it to identify if you're equipped with a specific ItemID or specific ItemType We already used to use to enable/disable the "U" sprite when the character has a Potion equipped, but now we can also filter a ItemType.

It would be awesome to see an addon pack for Shooter that adds spells. Add mana and unique states/effects like slowed, poisoned, stunned. It can be done now but having something really designed for it would add a lot more possibilities. Teleport for example instead of roll. Change throw to instead be a location effect, such as making there be a blizzard for X seconds in that location, which applies a slowed state to enemies who are hit by it. A remake of the bow that requires a charge up, but as a staff or wand. And instead of dealing damage, the spell projectile puts enemies that it collides with into a stunned state for X seconds. Such as being asleep, or frozen in a block of ice, etc. Or apply a poison effect, which deals damage to them over time instead of right away. Could also be used for burning. Make the equipped spells in the bottom left of the screen appear in a row and always visible, so its a small spell hotbar. Allow you to block projectiles with a magic barrier similar to a shield, but use it without un-equipping your spell. Perhaps even add a destructible object tag or health to the barrier, so it absorbs one hit or a couple and then breaks. Maybe a way to add cooldowns to using spell types, such as being able to change the "time between roll" to 10 seconds or something instead of 1.
The Builder addon does a little bit of this in that say you can make a force field instead of a wooden barrier, or a ward that explodes and knocks back enemies when an they walk near it. But I bet if there were a module actually designed for it that tied these things to a mana bar, it would be absolutely amazing and for sure the best spell maker in the unity asset store.

Yeah i have the mana addon and my new rpg kit has spell casting. I even demonstrate using it to open a portal in front of an enemy and throw a grenade through it.

We improved the Camera Movement as well, it's way better to aim now
