When I toggle the lockInput via the vShooterMeleeInput through script, if you happen to be walking/running, the action will continue to occur until you disable to lockInput.
How can I stop the player from walking when i activate lockInput?

On your vShooterMeleeInput you will find the method SetLockShooterInput(bool value), you need to pass the parameter bool of true or false.
Same thing for the vThirdPersonInput and vMeleeCombatInput ;)
