Hello there! I searched the sample scenes & read through the documentation, (perhaps I missed it) but I'm not quite sure where to place the "ItemCollectionDisplay" and "ItemCollectionTextHUD" prefabs. Furthermore I'm not sure what the difference is between each of them.
When using the "vItemCollection" and moving the cursor over the "Text Delay" option. It reads. "Drag and drop the prefab itemCollectionDisplay inside the UI gameobject to show a text of what you've collected".
What UI and which gameobject? The player? The chest chest? The collectable object? I believe I've tried all 3 to no avail. Am I missing something? I've skipped over it for now and decided to post here and wait for an answer as I'm just working on other aspects while I wait.
Any help is appreciated thought I'd post as I couldn't find it listed in any of the documentation :^) Thanks!

The UI is the UI from your scene where you have the HUD, the vItemCollectionDisplay will display the name of the items you collect from the vItemCollection as the name suggests xD
It will automatically detect if you add a new item to your Inventory and display the name of that/those items in a row, you can see this in action on the Melee or Shooter main demo scenes.
