Hi I am using AI FSM and melee combat. I am not sure who the recoil works. with 1v1 AI agents I can see the recoil. but I need to recoil with a player sword. so who does the recoil works exactly? I am using it with Oculus Rift, I put the sword on the player hand as well. please help

The melee manager is not recognizing the sword in the rig hand, what could be the reason?

I am using the rig avatar with Humanoid Control asset, so I set it manually and probably missed somwthing

Hi, thanks for trying to help, I am trying a different approach now since I understand the damage is controlled by the animation, and I use VR Avatar with no animations. I set up enemy and ally, for melee with swords. whatever I do to try control the distance of the attack, they seem to ignore it and get close to each other regardless. I change the detection distance min and max, also on the sword component. but it doesn't change. please help! also, the guide seems outdated so its a bit hard... do you have an updated guide?
