I’m working on a VR game where a second player controls a third person character. When playing as the VR player the TPC vanished at a certain distance. I’ve tried increasing the far clipping setting, turning the culling setting to always animate and checking another setting under the TPC skinned mesh for update offscreen. None of that makes a difference. I’ve also added some third person AI scaled down to .14 and they disappear from the TPC’s screen even if fairly close and well within the clipping range. Also tried changing culling to always animate and the skinned mesh to update offscreen. Is there some other setting I’m missing that might help?

If you are using the Invector characters these have LOD levels you can select the character Mesh_LOD and reduce the LOD group 'culled' to check it out in editor. You also might want to check the LOD bias distances.

Adjusted the LOD cull setting and that did it, thanks!
