Hi, in my current setup my character starts with a sword, a torch and a musket. I have all three weapons/items added in vItemManager in this order: sword, torch, musket. They are all added to EquipArea 0 and correctly appear in both the inventory and the equipment display area. The problem is that the selected slot is always the last. How do I "force on start" to select the first?

On update v2.5.1 we now have more options to better control the started items. You can use the option " Add to EquipArea" to add the item to a specific area. And the " AutoEquip" now literally equips the weapon and move your EquipDisplay to the available slot that the item was equipped. So for example, you have start with several items added to your EquipArea, but if you want to start with a specific weapon, check the AutoEquip and it will overwrite any order from the list to start with that weapon. In this example I have the Pistol just added first, but I want to start with the AssaultRifle so I've checked the AutoEquip options as well.

Is there a particular reason I can't check that Add to EquipArea box? Inventory works otherwise but I can't check that box.

Sent it to your email. For those at home reading this, I'm clicking the Add to EquipArea button and trying to increase the amount of an item (Such as Ammo). One thing to note, if I go to the demo scene and collect ammo, then it works fine. Just can't add or increase the amount of items to a character.

Hi guys, Any update on this one? I just hit this issue. I even went into the Shooter melee and shooter only demo scenes and can't click the Add to EquipArea check box.

That's very odd... we can't get to reproduce this bug at all... are you guys have other assets imported or just the template?

I was able to 'fix' the issue, In the Item Manager inspector, I dragged in the inventory I am using to the slot, not letting it auto detect an inventory prefab. After that I was able to use the checkbox's

Hi, I'm having the same issue but theyak's solution didn't work for me, unfortunately. I've added a fresh ItemManager to my PC, completed the basic setup, and I am unable to click the "Add to EquipArea" field. Dragging in the PC inventory doesn't make a difference for me.
I do have some prefab assets that I've imported, but I don't think that's the issue because both the Shooter and Melee demo scenes are experiencing the same issue. (I haven't made any changes to either scenes.)
Any thoughts?

Also, what Unity version are you running? we don't support Alpha or Beta releases.

I am seeing the same problem as dex . For some reason the "Add to EquipArea" field stopped working all of a sudden and can't be clicked anymore. Same for the button "Change Attributes", it stops working. Tried cleaning, reimporting, nothing works. Same for the demo scene as well. If a new project is created and only Invector Shooter is imported as asset, it works fine (but haven't tested using the new fresh project for an extended period of time; the error happened after a few hours tinkering with the project). Please advise. Thanks!

Can someone please revisit this please? It is still happening. Everything was working fine until I added a new weapon. Now I can no longer check the Equiparea.
