Asset store Update V1.2.3Hey guys, happy to say the new update for V1.2.3 has finally hit the asset store! The same has been in sellfy for the last two weeks. Please see patch notes below. 1.2.3 - Now compatible with Unity 2018.2 **Known issue : Sometimes colliders on pb meshes won't work and causes problems where the player is unable to get past the first door in the vbase. - Fixed bug where in the case of multiple quest providers, the quest name is incorrectly updated in the quest UI when opening the quest UI of one provider after the other. - Fixed bugs for vendor scripts and prefabs that caused a couple of issues. - Added support for quests to be handled externally via an event. This is a feature in development mainly have the dialogue system being developed in mind. ** Note that the dialogue system may be released as a standalone asset! I waited until released in Unity Asset Store .....
But if I leave the game, something is not stored and there are a couple of mistakes.

Hey guys,
I have terrible news from my end. I was diagnosed with a nasty heart problem a few days back and for me things have turned a bit upside down.
As a result I won't be able to provide faster updates like usual as I need to rest a bit more than usual. I apologize for this. At this point, I worry that I may have to drop working in general and get a few months off from work.
If this is the case, I will not deprecate the package, but I will leave it for free on the asset store for a while as I cannot guarantee support like I did up until now. The intention is to also refund those who bought the RPG pack after October.

I posted a little while back about some saving issues and managed to have full success, and have narrowed down one last problem, and its to do with where my save data is going, ive found it and its even picking up where that location is, how ever it will come up with "Failed to read past end of stream."
now i presume the reason this is happening is because i had to make space on my computer mainly the C:drive so i moved all my unity stuff to another installed harddrive and this is the error it throws.
ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Argument is out of range.
Parameter name: index
so how might i work around this?

Regards, Tharindu Really sorry to hear this news man being diagnosed with something is something you do have to take another look on how you approach life as i was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis a few years ago i also had to quit work but it is a long process trying to get help from disability i wish you all the luck man all you've done is greatly appreciated |

Hey Guys! with the bad news for Tharindu I have offered to take over some of the support for the RPG pack. I don't know if he'll be on any time soon to confirm for you guys but we had a chat over skype and I told him he needs to rest and not worry about it so I hope that you guys can use the forums here to contact me in regards to the pack support, and if anyone else is able to help out with questions don't be afraid to answer for him! I'm still continuing my youtube series and I believe he said he is releasing his packs for free due to the support issue. These addons are really great and I hope that together we can keep them going! drongophat: are you using the latest version? I think a while back (and maybe still now) you need to keep the folders in the specific directory as unity requires some scripts in a specific location. Get back to me with the version number for the addon, the invector template and the unity version and I will have a look and see what I can do. |

Sorry for my bluntness but this addon doesn't work. I tried it on the same version of the RPG tutorials I had seen on youtube and also tried it with the same version of unity as the tutorials on this page but the vendor part doesn't work.    At one stage I thought it was working but I wasted my time and effort on them RPG tutorials when I didn't realize the RPG Pack doesn't even work. I have also tried other versions of unity as well. I also hit the reset button on all as well just like the tutorials. And for me, this was a paid addon as well. |
