Hey guys, did a quick search of the board and I didn't see anything on this topic, but if there is a relevant thread I missed please direct me to it.
I'm using the Invector Basic Locomotion in combination with some of my own scripting for aiming/shooting. I want to make it so when the player holds down the right mouse button, the character enters the strafe state. That way it transitions to the strafe camera for aiming and allows them to strafe around whatever they're aiming at. By default it's a toggle, and I've been playing with it trying to get it to work this way but whenever I change the input to getkey instead of getkeydown it sort of rapidly switches between strafing and free movement states while I'm holding down the mouse button. My scripting puts the character into an aiming state where they raise their equipped weapon the upper body follows the camera, I just need to sort out the Invector states so they work in combination the way I intend them to.
Has anyone else tried this and had success with it? If anyone has a solution for how to modify Invector to do this (Or if there's some toggle/hold option I somehow missed) I'd love to see it.
