What is the layer and tag settings for the water? I don't have the wimming add-on so I don't know what the setting should be.
I assume it should be Default and untagged

I just imported the swimming add-on !
I didn't changed any settings

Try re-importing the project settings.
make sure your 'water' object is using the layer "Triggers" and that the BoxCollider is set to IsTrigger
