Sorry for the basic question, but I'm currently creating an enemy with create simple melee AI in Melee Combat, setting Simple melee AI's Tag to Detect to Player, and setting V Damage Receive on the enemy's chest. Therefore, when I shoot the created enemy with a gun, it takes damage, but it cannot detect the player even if it is shot, like the enemy set up in the demo scene. (I thought it was a detection range issue, so even if I approached and shot from behind, the enemy could not detect the player.) I compared the information I have set up with the enemy in the demo scene, but could not find any difference. What should I set to detect the player when the enemy is shot from behind? The actual behavior is as shown in the gif below. This mob enemy has a V Damage Receiver so it can accept gun attacks, but as stated in the question, it does not react like the enemy in the demo scene.

Is it set to companionAI? I had that issue one time when setting it up.

The Simple Melee AI was design for basic melee interaction (and it will be discontinued soon), if you want an AI that fully supports Shooter (and can shot back) take a look at the FSM AI Template.

Thank you for your reply. Simple Melee AI cannot react to Shooter attacks, but why can the NPCs installed in the demo scene react to gunfire? I thought that if I set the same settings as the NPC installed in the demo scene, I would be able to react to gunfire, but does that mean that it is not possible?

Check your layers, it should be able to take shot damages

Check your layers, it should be able to take shot damages I apologize, but The problem is not that the enemies I created do not take damage when attacked with a gun, but that they do take damage when attacked with a gun, but they are not hostile. The enemies installed in the demo scene react to the player and come closer when shot at from a distance, but the enemies I created, when shot at from a distance, take damage but are not hostile to the player. I checked the tags and layers and it looks like they are set up the same as the enemies set up in the demo scene, what part is missing? P.S. I checked again that maybe the Target set in the Locomotion of the enemy's SIMPLE MELEE AI or the Hit Properties set in the MELEE MANAGER were incorrect, but they were set correctly. Also, I believe that the enemies I created are not hostile to the player, as they become hostile when approaching from the front and at a certain degree of proximity to the player.

Simple Melee AI doesnt recognize shooter weapons at distance, you need to use the FSM AI for that
ps* Simplee Melee AI will is already discontinued and it will be removed soon
