I am having trouble with the IK adjust of the right hand when adjusting weapons. the left hand moves but the right does and its stuck in a akward position, how do I go about fixing that?

Hello, I am having trouble with the IK adjust of the right hand when adjusting weapons. the left hand moves but the right does and its stuck in a akward position, how do I go about fixing that? Take a look at the tutorial on how to setup the demo scene. You need to rotate the defaultEquipPoint in play mode. Starting at 19 minutes: Geers, sickscore

I played around with the system with another character and now I have the same issue XD #Karma It seems that the right forearm is stuck somehow?! Default Invector Bot character is working fine. Any ideas Invector ? Clean shooter controller without ragdoll:

Haven't watched video but there are some tick boxes that handle placement of the right arm in relation to the weapon/animation (basically do you want arm to align to the aim point or follow the animation point).

Hmm I didn't have any issues here, just checked the option in the weapon prefab and align the transforms like always.

so the right arm doesnt move with the left, only time it does is if, you use the rotation transform of the defaultequippoint. but the position transform doesnt work

I have same problem. Its all good for default weapons, but when you change and add your own weapons, thats when things messes up.I found IK to be huge hassel for this

I always use the weapon prefabs as reference and add my weapon model. Same workflow than shown in the tech demo tutorial. Never had problems with it. Just make sure to only position and rotate the renderer transform, not the actual weapon transform.

Btw, I fixed the issue I had before. Just created the shooter controller again and now it works like a charm.
