So does the save function tie into the template? Or is it simply a snapshot of the scene and spawns a new player each time?

Hi man, the save function works seemlessly with the template as I showed in the previous video. but the equipped items with which you saved the game won't be loaded as of now coz it requires me to make the easy main menu more inclined towards Invector and for now I am making it generic so that it can work with every game template and also it's just drag and drop and you are done! Once this is released on the store I will be making an Invector and NGUI integration as well

Personally saving is a lot of work and an asset on its own right. I did a really comprehensive saving function for the quest system and trust me, even mine is not that advanced as easy save or something. But I got some kickass functions like saving in mid animation and things like that. So my advice is keep your menu to what it actually is. A main menu template. Improve upon that functionality and try not to go feature creep. I'm not calling my quest system a quest system anymore. Now it's Evila's Rpg pack lol
