For the purposes of what I intend to develop with the engine, I'd like to remove the animation that occurs when you land from a certain distance. I'm also looking to make it so that the player's ground momentum carries over into their jump.

Just remove the land high animation from the animator controller not sure what you mean on the second question though...

Not sure if I'm looking at the right thing. For my second question, I mean when you jump from the ground, you start your jump at the same speed that you were moving on the ground at.

Also I wish to base many of the basic movement concepts on how NieR: Automata does them (double jumps which I've already gotten in my tests, dashes including air dashes, and some others)
