currently I'm trying to get my player to grab a weapon in a new scene I made. But for some reason, even though I can get it to show to hit 'E' to pick up, I still can't get the player to actually pick it up. Does anyone know what could be wrong with the setup?

your character have a ItemManager? try following the tutorials or the documentation.. I'm sure you miss a simple step

yeah, my player has the ItemManager script but he's still not picking up the weapon. I'm looking through your resources right now for answers, but let me know if you think of anything.

Also, I'm getting this error in Unity involving the item manager:

Looks like your equip points are bad. I think you just added the itemmanager component to the player gameobject, right?! Try to add the ItemManger over the menu (again). Invector > Inventory > ItemManager
