So I guess I'll sort of use this as a dev diary if that's okay with everyone here. While waiting on the Melee Comabt 2.0/Shooter Update, I've reserved myself to messing around in Blender/Photoshop to tweak the protagonist of the game, Rin. If you saw my video on the official Invector Unity Forum Thread, it should look pretty familiar, with a couple little things added or changed. I still need to clean up the textures on the body, create better normals for the hair, and retexture the sword/shield. I'm also messing with color correction curves (it's too saturated and vibrant in some cases) and the UBER shader. The end goal is to create a game in the same playstyle as Ocarina of Time and Windwaker. I guess now I'll start working on smaller environment stuff.

Thank you! I started messing around with shaders and junk after I finished playing the Windwaker Remake on WiiU. I loved the cel-shaded look, but sometimes wanted a little more depth for textures and whatnot. So this is what I got after messing around with several different styles.

Looking good, WindWaker is absolutely a great reference to follow - can wait to see this project growing up!

Finally about time to get back working to this. Cleaned up some textures for the main character. Decided on a another hair style, and skin tone.Worked on a new character (name as of yet undecided) who will be helping the protagonist out with upgrades along the way. Always had a thing for female mechanics. Also was messing with new particle systems. I'll upload a video once I'm comfortable with how smooth the movement is. share screenshot

Thanks for the input guys! I've been messing around with Toony Colors Pro 2 (Wonderful asset, by the way!) The rim-shading is inspired by the latest release of Breath of the Wild trailer. I'm really digging the way these characters are coming out. Now onto animation work!

Hey guys! Quick update on this, though probably not the update you all want. I've decided to go with a turn-based system. I just replayed FFX on PS4, and I realized there's an extreme lack of RPG's with that type of battle system. I'll still be using the same characters, and might even end up using the Invector system for movement. But as of right now, I'm on an extreme re-code! If there is any interest on that sort of thing here, I'll start uploading updates on my own website which I'll PM to you. (I do not want to advertise anything un-Invector related on the public forum.)
