Hi. I'm using a scope on the assault weapon but it does not show the terrain, everything else it does. Any ideas? I'm guessing it's a layer thing.

possibly a problem with the scope camera's culling mask. haven't dabbled much with scoping to be honest.

Terrain in the scope itself is working, but its the main player camera thats not when in zoom.

Sure! Here you go..
There are a few issues (cosmetic) when zoom'ing like the default camera effects to be used on the scope, and flickering of shadows etc.

that's a draw distance thing, the camera is changing the distance it can render at when you zoom in, so you're losing the distant terrain.

I increased the far clipping plane of the cameras (standard and zoom) and made no difference.

All fixed now, needed to add the terrains to their own terrain layer instead of default, and make sure the scope set for the assault rifle had a far clipping range set to higher than 250. Set the Default culling to Nothing for now.
