Hi all I have been studying the invector Code for sometime now and would like to announce that i am currently working on an AI Implementation of Generic Meshes to the project, I am not sure however would you guys be ok with it being a premium add on or should I just give it away free, obviously i would put alot more effort into it if it was to be premium but is Generic Ai suggested enough to be sold as a native add on for the controller? or should i just make a simple add on that simply supports Generic Meshes? like my target script.
I guess what i am asking is would people be opposed to me selling such an Add On as i am new here I promise i would not make it expensive, I will be implementing Generic AI to my game as it is very much needed due to the variation of enemy in the game not just 2 leggers;
I am very much looking for suggestions to add to this from you guys and I will do my very best to add any features that you would suggest.
thank you guys

Personally I don't mind paying for addons from a developer. You spend your valuable time and effort to make a product and you would value it as you see fit. It's great if it's free, who doesn't love free stuff!! :D But we should also realize that it's not good to be a freeloader too when someone's spending hours of their time they could be spending on something else like working on their own projects. If they don't like paying for it, of course, they have the option of making it themselves ;) at least that's my honest opinion. I tried to play with implementing generic AI myself. Just assigned a bone transform for the head permanently and created a new animator by myself that was not a biped, but I could nicely fit in invector's existing vAI_Controller to it without issue. But there were other difficulties trying to get the stupid things to move and stuff properly, so would be happy to see what you come up with

Improving the AI is my Focus so i will be creating my own code that will feed off of much of the invector code for continuity, When i am happy with some of the results i will surely be posting it on this page. this is likely going to involve my own AI_Motor and and animation code, this is not going to be an easy task but i thrive on the challenge. This is going to involve alot of work this is why i am planning on making it a premium item that will add completely new functionality to this kit. I wont be selling it at a high cost it will be very much affordable. This is of course if people are ok with me selling it.
I am hoping to add more advanced AI features then what are currently available for the current system to make it worth paying for of course.
Thanks as always tharindu for getting back to me I appreciate all suggestions from other developers.

Xalo my plan initially is to make it as a generic model AI system, but i can see me improving all aspects of the AI eventually. Will be sure to update you all as and when i develop this. Of course i am open to all suggestions and i will see what i can come up with.
