Well most likely you would have to rewrite a lot of code for both in order to get them to work together. Their codes would clash with definition issues and other errors.
Just checked and saw Invevtor has a Cover System as a shooter update for later. Why not wait for it? Im sure it will be better than the other "cover system." Just my opinion though.
