Hey Guys, I've partially got this worked on a shooter template. The only issue I'm stuck with so far is adding Items to quest but the rest is working fine with the new template. So my problem is the ItemReference error on adding items. the shooter template uses function AddItem(ItemReference itemReference) cronicman is using AddItem(id, amount). Still working to fixed this issue but anyone knows how to fixed it? Also I don't know why chronicman modified codes from invector template just to make this addon work. @invector is it possible for you guys to create a coding standards to create an addons so that when we extend the controller we don't need to modified your code.

The idea is to remove all extra actions such as ladder climb, climbUp, stepUp and jumpUp from the main code to keep the controller as clean as possible and turn into separated modular scripts that you add as components into the player if you want to use.

To be honest, I wouldn't underestimate what chronicman has done here. It takes some level of skill and a good amount of time as you yourself may have figured out to get something working in the template other than the wonderful features it provides. I've been recently focusing on making a quest system for the game and right now I have integrated it with the item manager code. Sometimes a tight coupling is what you need to get things to work , but you're right about having a proper set of guidelines to write extensions. That way, we could write neater addons ourselves. But I am assuming that will be a lot of work for Invector

arkas I don't have armor plus and Easy save I'm using gamesparks for saving progress and inventory. Maybe I can help on armor plus if you can send me the asset.
