@invector thank you! Eventually I will make a WIP thread for my two projects. Once I make the tutorial is it ok if I post the link to the vid here, or should I make a new thread for it and call it... Zipline Launcher or something.

Thank you! I can't wait!!! My current zipline setup looks messier than my mother's handbag. I understand you guys are also working on climbing. Can't wait to see to the result! I have Athos' climbing system, ELC and my own but I'm looking for something "simpler" along the lines of the newer Tomb Raider games.

sickscore thank you! I used a large plane and applied toon shading with the texture. Cliffs you see on both sides are from two diff assets and I make sure to match up textures concerning level detail. Also grass and trees are objects within the scene. I am currently staying away from using any "terrain" with unity. My pc is very low-end which is why i havent made a tutorial yet for zipline launcher. Also why the game will have no unity made terrain. Saves on frame rate. ;)

the assetstore version doesnt work i press play and the camera is just stationary something is wrong with the scene both with the swimming pack from assetstore i even tried replacing the character

I just tested the add-ons from the asset store and they are working just fine, make sure you have the template version 2.2.d or above imported and uncheck the project settings when importing the add-ons.
I will create a video tutorial for both add-ons next week, but they are really easy to setup just copy the component from our example scene and paste into your new character, copy the particles and sound fx as well and the animations from the animator controller.

@invector I am noticing that when my player loads into a scene from a different scene that the zipline does not work for some reason, however if I die in the scene and the play goes back to the respawn point in the same scene, then the zipline will work the second time. Just curious if this is a bug by any chance or if you have any suggestions on it?

Hmm make sure that you're character has the Zipline component on the next scene, and also you can transfer all the components from the zipline to the player, since you're changing scenes you will need this components attached into the player instead of the zipline object.
