Official Add-on FreeClimb by Invector
* THIS ADD-ON REQUIRED THE BASIC LOCOMOTION TEMPLATE *
FreeClimb Official Add-on Plug & Play
With the FreeClimb system you can climb on any surface but it's more used for walls or cliffs like Zelda BOTW.
With this add-on you not only get the freeclimb but also the knowledge to create custom modular add-ons without changing the core of the controller.
Missing Animations: [ Download] * Required Basic Locomotion 2.4.0 or higher ** MeleeCombat & Shooter already contain the Basic Locomotion *** Animations are not included but there is a link to download already setup animations, you just need to import and hit play.

I have had the chance to try it at the beginning of the beta phase and it was already great...now improved...awesome!

I can absolutely guarantee you guys are going to have fun with this addon. I was lucky to have a chance to test this on an early beta. The build on sellfy's got some real improvements to it and is super cool! Enjoy the best addon release from Invector yet!!

will it support hanging from areas where your feet dont touch? like hanging on a bar? It'd be nice to have that and allow your hands to go closer together like climbing a pole. but besides that its a great asset and worth the purchase

You could modify the animations to do this, if you wanted both, you could adjust the system to allow for both types using two different tags.

Quick question before possible purchase, how well does this work with Final IK? More like will there be problems with both IK's functioning? I have noticed that Final IK's "Grounder FBBIK" script doesn't really work with footsteps for one so that's why i'm asking. *Edit; Scratch that, footsteps does work with Grounder FBBIK. Problem was a mistake i had made with layers.

We didn't test with FinalIK yet, but the climb system has it's own IK so there will be probably a conflict

Okay...now how do I get back down?
Truly awesome add on, fully expected to have to add climb points all over this level but simply tagging objects with 'FreeClimb' makes them climbable...even prefabs work with the tag. I am really looking forward to seeing where you go with this one. So easy to implement and use already. This was worth waiting for.

They were actually working entertaining the possibility of adding climbing down First the smaller issues were needed to be ironed out.

How to change the Climbing Script to allow the UI to change in Climb and JumpClimb.
Have Added the Change in Stamina to the Climbing Script Scriptable Object Changes
Added the Invoke To Change the UI
Add New Method to Change Current Stamina
